Diffference between Installations

Single Installation

A Single Installation is where one pigtail is connected to a Gas Regulator, then Connected to the LP Gas Bottle. When the gas bottle is empty one should connect a new bottle.

Double Installation

A Double Installation is where two pigtails are connected to a Gas Regulator with a switch-over valve, one can connect two gas bottles on this installation.  One bottle is used at a time but if the bottle is empty, you manually change the direction of the valve to show which bottle is in use.

Certificates of Conformity

All installations includes an Certificate of Conformity(COC)

We also do Inspecting of Installations and the Upgrading to comply with SANS 100087-7 Standards.

Inspection of existing installations can be done, if installation is compliant a COC can be issued.

There are three different ways to secure a LP Gas Bottle.

Domestic Installations do not require that the cylinders be placed in a cage but in such a manner as not to accidentally fall over.

Securing Chain

A chain is connected to a wall with a bolt which keeps the gas bottle from falling over.
